Gwangan-ri & Haeundae Area
  • GWANGALLI BEACH
    Gwangalli Beach is a hot tourist attraction with various festivals open year round.
    Therefore, people of all ages can spend a nice time here. Around the beach, there are unique restaurants, cafes, and over 300 raw fish restaurants. An outdoor stage on the white sand beach is used as a place for various performances.
    There are famous places near the beach like Subyeon (waterfront) Park, Gwangalli Beach Theme Street and outdoor cafe.
    You can also enjoy various water sports such as wind surfing, yachting, and scuba diving. The majestic feature of the Gwangan Bridge looks extraordinary especially at night against the beautiful night view of the beach.
  • IGIDAE PARK
    It is a park that faces the sea on the hilltop east of Jangsanbong.
    Rock bedrocks consisting of delicate rocks, which cover about 2 kilometers of shore, are considered the most famous fishing area in Busan to enjoy fishing.
    The circular road and five-land walkways are constructed, and various sports equipment are installed throughout the park.
    It was controlled as a military operation zone until 1993 when it was opened to citizens, so it has a good natural preservation status, including the habitat of rare plants and insects.
    In October 1999, when the dinosaur footprints were found on rocks, the Southern District Office prepared the area for the park.
  • HAEUNDAE BEACH
    Considered one of the eight scenic wonders in Korea.
    Haeundae Beach has long been the most popular, with the biggest, oval-shaped, white sand beach. This is also the only beach resort in Korea that has its own hot springs, which is why Haeundae is popular all year-round
  • 광안리 해안 드라이브코스
    광안대교에서 해운대, 송정, 대변, 기장으로 이어지는 동부산 해안도로는 드라이브 하기에 좋은 코스이다.
    특히 기장의 멸치회와 대한민국에서 바다와 가장 가까이 있는 사찰인 해동용궁사에서는 다른 곳에서는 경험하지 못하는 명물이다.
  • AQUARIUM

  • UN PARK
    UN soldiers from 16 countries for military action and from 5 countries for medical support took part in the Korean War, which began on June 25, 1950.
    This is the only cemetery to commemorate those from the UN forces who gave their lives during the Korean War; 2,200 brave heroes lay in state in this memorial park.

Busan Central District
  • BIFF (BUSAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL)
    PIFF began in 1996, and now has become a thriving film festival in Asia where film artists and fans get together, and people can have a chance to meet world-famous film stars and directors, and, in turn, meet their audience.
    Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2005, PIFF will be reborn as a fruitful festival -- the hub of the Asian film industry.
    Every year city council has printed the palm and sole of prize-winners, and laid down the plate containing the name of participants on the plaza, which is giving another spectacular place to tourists.
  • TAEJONGDAE PARK
    Taejongdae was named after Silla 29th king Taejong Muyeol, who practiced archery here.
    Through the circular mountain path, you can see observatory, lighthouse, mangbubble, and dinosaur footprints.
    You can taste roasted shellfish and seafood in the gravel yard.

  • YONGDUSAN PARK
    Yongdusan (49m) is a hill in Busan City and is one of the three mountains in Busan.
    In the old days, the sea was called Songhyeonsan Mountain because it was seen through thick pine trees.
    It is a scenic spot overlooking Busan Harbor and Yeongdo Island. Especially, the night view from the tower is beautiful.

  • Gamcheon Culture Village

  • DALMAGY-GOGAE (Moon Greeting Hill)
    Located on the slope of a mountain between Haeundae Beach and Ongjeong, it is famous nationwide for enjoying the first full moonrise of the month.
    Due to the many novel cafeterias and restaurants nearby, it attracts many tourists.
  • SONG-JEONG BEACH
    Songjeong Haesuyok-jang is an intimate beach of white sand, with the unusual combination of beach and temple, (Haedong Yonggung-sa).
    The Daebyeon-hang harbor is famous for its fascinating view of anchovy fishing.

Dongrae Area
  • BEOMEOSA
    Beomeosa, nestled at the eastern skirt of the mountain Geumjeongsan, is well-known as one of the most famous great Buddhist temples in Korea. On the left side of the entrance to Beomeosa, there is a colony of more than 500 wisteria vines, more than 100 years old, which is designated as Natural Monument No. 176.
    Since the view of the vicinity is famous for its beauty and quietness, many visitors crowd this temple.
    The temple has lots of cultural properties and treasures including : Beomeosa Iljumun, a gate in front of temple with columns in row (City Tangible Cultural Heritage No. 2), Dangganjiju, the supports of the flagpole of the temple (City Tangible Cultural Heritage No.15), the Stone Lantern (City Tangible Cultural Heritage No.16), the Three-story Pagoda (Treasure No. 250), the historic record Samgukyusa, or The Heritages of the Three Kingdoms (Treasure No. 419-3), the main hall Daeungjeon (Treasure No. 434); and 11 hermitages in the mountain.
  • CHUNGNYEOL SHRINE
    The final resting place of many martyred Korean patriots, who died fighting Japanese invaders.
    This shrine is dedicated to those patriotic Korean fighters who died resisting the Japanese aggressors during the Japanese Invasion of Korea (1592~1599) The 93,399 sq.m. site houses a main hall and 15 other small structures.
